Dental Assistant

The dental assistant diploma program at ISHC will prepare you with the practical knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career as a dental assistant.  Our caring instructors will provide extensive hands-on training and personalized instruction so that you are equipped to begin your career working in dental healthcare.

Our comprehensive dental program will train you to perform specific dental procedures and teach you skills used in patient interaction. Students will learn how to take X-rays, impressions and other procedures in our fully furnished dental lab.

In addition to classroom instruction, students will participate in an externship program.  This will give you the opportunity to work side-by-side with healthcare professionals and learn first-hand, relevant skills used in the dental field.
